Insulation for busbar
There are many cases that a copper busbar or aluminum busbar requires partial insulation. The insulation is a common process in producing a busbar, just like plating. The insulated voltage mainly depends on the material and thickness of the coating layer.
Insulation type
When it comes to insulation for busbar in HRY’s manufacturing, there are mainly 2 ways. One is the heat-shrinking. The other is the epoxy coating. The heat-shrink tube is cheaper but not applicable if your busbar is odd shaped or you have special requirements to the insulation. On the other hand, the use of epoxy coating is very flexible. The epoxy coating can be sprayed or dipped.
